Battle of the Businesses is a high-energy, 16-team pickleball tournament bringing local businesses together for a morning of competition, connection, and fun. Teams will hit the courts from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, battling for bragging rights and ultimate business pride.

Check-in begins at 9:00 AM, with games starting shortly after.

The tournament will begin with pool play, where teams will play every other team in their assigned pool. Following pool play, teams will advance into a single-elimination bracket, with the top 4 teams earning a first-round bye.

If teams finish pool play with the same record, seeding will be determined by point differential.

Games will be played to 11 points or a 15-minute time limit, whichever comes first. If a game is tied at the end of the time limit, each team will receive one opportunity to serve—the first team to score a point will win.

In the event of any disputes, tournament “refs” may step in if needed, though players are encouraged to replay the point whenever possible to keep play fair and moving.

After the final matches, all participants are invited to enjoy lunch provided by the YMCA, giving everyone a chance to relax, network, and celebrate the competition.
